When a logged in user performs a Bing search for a  query the social sidebar will show on the right rail outside of the main search pane. The new functionality will allow users to like the post, comment on the post and hop right over to the post on Facebook. According to Bing, the new integration will be a more usable and helpful experience:

“Following the introduction of social sidebar last year, we’ve been exploring ways to make it even more useful … Now you can see what your friends might know about what you’re searching for and engage with them directly without leaving the search page.”
